OUR ACTIVE PARLIAMENT

As this monsoon session was going on and passing of bills were just flooding gave the feel that after long time some work was going in our parliament. And it really feels good when we saw some debate instead of stalling of parliament.
But it is not all about bright side because for ambitious politics they have to show some active work. You can understand from the decision of the parliament such as bringing RTI act (amendment) 2013 bill, just after the CIC decision of bringing national parties under the RTI act. How consciously all parties got feared about it that they even don’t want to delay it. Only some MPs are opposing to this bill and not surprisingly that their party do not belong to parties which are under RTI act. And we can easily understand that what could have been their opinion if their party would have also been under it.
Their activeness does not end here; they passed the representation of the people (amendment and validation) bill that effectively says that people in jail have the right to contest polls. This took just some minutes discussion to pass it. Means they care more about who are in jail and about their rights rather than making any such law which will not allow happening any such things by which innocent people may get detain in such circumstances.

It shows that how active our parliament have become where we can see the bills getting passed immediately after some time which are in favor of political parties and other bills took 4 to 9 years or more. What should we call it fear or favor or affection or ill-will of MPs?

conservation of food

Government of India has launched another bill through ordinance that is food security bill and debate is going on every channel with panel of experts about its credibility and with some issues like inflation, public distribution system management, about its corruption level. In fact, every bill has pros and cons, so it is better to leave it on experts to decide about it. But for common man what he can understand that food security bill is for providing food to poor people who cannot afford it at higher prices. In short, there should be no one in this country who will die because of hunger.

Is there insufficient food in our country? NO, there is inefficient use of it. Like, lack of high quality storage system, big fat wedding, etc. As we always say its all failure of government. YES, for storage system it is right, but what about big fat weddings system of India, Which we Indian religiously follow. OK, there is nothing bad in celebrating our happiest moment with our close one but to get blind in our celebration is not good. We give invitation to 1000 people and make facility of food for 1200 peoples. Generally we do this to be safe in terms of our ego, status, and etc. but at the cost of wastage of food of near about 300-400 peoples. And strange is that we serve food to those people who has sufficient availability of it, let it go its everyone’s personal matter. But we don’t have the right to waste food by which someone can survive. It is not matter about poor or rich, every Indian family follow this except some reformers who are trying to change this concept. Why to wait for this reformers to change whole system, start by you and make their work easy. So think on food conservation.

Interesting human life

Lots of different moments come in our life, some of them are cheerful, and some are sorrowful. Every person deals with it in his own way and own kind of technique which differs from person to person. But as a human being we share lots of similar things like feeling of happiness, depression, etc. and solution may also come in a similar way. So I would like share my thoughts considering common problem for most of peoples.

Loss, victory as we know always part of our life and it directs us in different ways. Victory directs us to happiness then it directs to sharing it with people in own way like someone gives party on victory; someone visits temple, etc. it is always enjoyable and exciting. Similarly loss also directs us to sadness, then it also directs to sharing with other people particularly with close one, but here question arise that what to do when there is no one to share our feeling of sadness. As there is unwritten rule of life, that everyone join us in happy moment but hard to find one at bad time. Then where we get directed and how to deal with it?

When there is no one to hear you, then it directs to yourself means your mind or your heart whatever you say it. And you start talking with your own mind. As our mind is most powerful thing in the world, it can direct wherever you want and as your position is of depression it’s hard to cheer up your mind. So sometime someone’s mind direct it to horrible thought like suicide. It’s really horrible situation. The solution to deal with this is hidden in the situation when you start talking to your mind. Whenever you come in this situation just move your thought to past right from the situation where you were get trapped. Just like scanning your own life, start thinking since your childhood and focus on the situation when you have dealt with difficult situation.

It is not important that how big problem you have dealt in your life, important part is that how you come out of it, even though that might be very small thing. In that scanning wherever you will find that moment at that time just give congratulation or praise yourself for that past victory. Slowly slowly you will get more such moments in your past, right from your primary school stage or even early to your present situation of life. Some of which you may have faced bravely, some problems with tactically, some with your sharpness, some with diplomacy, some with mind game, even some with politics too. OMG! In how many ways you have dealt with them. Now you will remember sorted incidences (bad or good) of your life and how much all were interesting even though some were bad, guilty one, silly but this can happen only in human life. Wow! That’s really our life is like interesting cinema. So how can you miss this cinema just because of some time bore interval? Make it full interesting film only with happy ending.

superstition and caste system in India

If we think about problems of India in 21st century many aspects come in mind such as economical, social, and political problems. But I would like to focus on the two main social problems in India of 21st century but that are actually centuries old problems but still we did not overcome from it.
Those two social problems are superstition and casteism. First of all if we talk about the superstition it is not only in illiterate peoples but also in well educated people. If educated people will be in the trap of superstition then it will be not fair to expect reforms in illiterate people. Though this problem came in light 200 years ago and then social reformer tried their best to vanish it from peoples mind but still we did not get success to achieve it in full manner. And we are getting into new class of this kind and I will call it educated superstitious class. It really hurts when any professional talks about superstitious things and it is more difficult to make them aware about it , as far as my attempt concerns most of time there answer is that you are not mature enough and it questions out me that, is this shows maturity? Then I don’t want to be mature. Many such incidences you will find in your day to day life.
So it is important to reform the educated superstitious class, only then we can vanish the superstition in our society.
Second problem is casteism it is also our one of the century’s old problem but it is taking another form. In this first aspect is that still in some villages people faces the problems like caste abuse, boycott, etc. it is really dangerous and problematic that we still did not come out of mentality of casteism. And peoples start calculation of caste after hearing surname of any person.
Now another aspect of this is reservation which is really debating issue in our country and particularly about fees. The weapon of government to determine the class of reservation is caste certificate. It is fine and appreciating that government encouraging weaker section to participate in development of country. But question is that, are they confirming about it that they are going in right direction? Let’s not go in deep, just we will think about fees concession. Is it really fair that one person’s family income is 1 lac per year and another person’s family income 6 lac per year and latter have to pay nil and first one has to pay full fees for any government forms, etc. so question arises about solution for this problem one immediate solution is to apply non-creamy layer certificate to every class and immediate question arises about its credibility because of many fraud income certificate or say not showing real income. But this problem too have solution if we do full use of technology, for example if all government employees data brought on one software which will give all details about employee with just entering their some details like name, DOB, etc. and if we use it at the time of giving non-creamy layer certificate so at least we will get off with some problem.

Another solution which should be aim of India is to ban on caste certificate and there should be no caste identity. Because I think problem lies with caste which we legalized it with document. It shows that how we fond of caste system that we give proof of it by legal document. It questions out that did we really now have need of it? It is also right that it will take time to abolish caste system but one day we will achieve it. Which was dream of many social reformers of India.
