OUR ACTIVE PARLIAMENT

As this monsoon session was going on and passing of bills were just flooding gave the feel that after long time some work was going in our parliament. And it really feels good when we saw some debate instead of stalling of parliament.
But it is not all about bright side because for ambitious politics they have to show some active work. You can understand from the decision of the parliament such as bringing RTI act (amendment) 2013 bill, just after the CIC decision of bringing national parties under the RTI act. How consciously all parties got feared about it that they even don’t want to delay it. Only some MPs are opposing to this bill and not surprisingly that their party do not belong to parties which are under RTI act. And we can easily understand that what could have been their opinion if their party would have also been under it.
Their activeness does not end here; they passed the representation of the people (amendment and validation) bill that effectively says that people in jail have the right to contest polls. This took just some minutes discussion to pass it. Means they care more about who are in jail and about their rights rather than making any such law which will not allow happening any such things by which innocent people may get detain in such circumstances.

It shows that how active our parliament have become where we can see the bills getting passed immediately after some time which are in favor of political parties and other bills took 4 to 9 years or more. What should we call it fear or favor or affection or ill-will of MPs?
